Wrapture textiles.

Wrapture textiles are created by Anne Leon and Kirsten Ingemar, two textile artists from Byron Bay, Australia.

Age-old dyeing techniques and modern innovations are used to create exquisite artworks, garments, wraps and scarves.

Leaves and flowers gathered from the local environment are carefully placed in dye pots or lovingly scattered on silk and fine wool cloths. Then heat and time work their magic, like alchemy. The foliage gives different hues and depths in line with the seasons and weather.

Each piece drawn from the pot has been transformed into a unique creation, a gift from nature styled by her moods and movements.

Queen Geraldine …jewellery to strut in…

As a child, I loved playing with my mothers’ extensive jewellery collection, adorning every finger, covering my wrists, neck and crowning my head with dripping pearls and crystals.

Ah, I was a sight to behold in crushed purple velvet.

As an adult, I love playing with my own collection of jewellery. My mother still takes part as she brings me lovely antique bits and pieces from around the world on her travels. I never know what I’m going to make – each piece is unique concoction of semi precious, glass, antique, pearl and crystal.

And now, it’s your turn to strut, preen and feel connected to your power when you step out and become Queen for the day.

You really do have to try them on.

Silva Bond.

http://www.silvabond.com.au/

I am an Australian artist and work in Byron Bay on the north coast of New South Wales. I live beside the ocean with my partner and my three cats. I love to walk on the beach, absorbed in the endlessly changing play of light between sky and sea. All of my glass is created in my studio (Seed Studio & Gallery) in the Art & Industry Estate, Byron Bay.

I utilise the unique qualities of dichroic glass to create individual pieces of jewellery, each a little world of light of its own. The pieces appear to glow with their own light from within, the colours shifting and changing as they are viewed from different angles. I choose to work with glass as it comes closest to expressing my endless fascination with the way light reveals, transmits and reflects the colours and beauty of our wonderful universe.

My mother is from Germany and mentioned these wisdom years ago but I would not bother. I could never quite believe her but now I know it works! I rave to others now!!!' - i think we all need one !!!

Do you have any Moral Fibre ??

http://www.moralfibre.com/

We believe that increasingly consumers want to know the full ‘story' behind the products they are buying so that both the planet and the people along the supply chain are treated with respect and dignity.

People want to be part of the ‘solution' to poverty, social injustice and environmental degradation and will embrace opportunities to do so - at the same time they don't want to compromise on quality or style.

Our bodies want to be wrapped in fabrics that are free of chemicals and pesticides and the associated negative consequences.

moral fibre aims to demonstrate that social and environmental integrity and profits can happily coexist. Ethics need not be compromised to be successful in the business world.

Burn to Shine

Burn To Shine Natural Candle Co. was developed as a direct response to health and environmental concerns about air pollution caused by synthetic fragrances and paraffin wax candles and the extensive use of lead and zinc cored wicks.

Burn To Shine candles have been embraced by those who see the good sense in making a natural choice when burning candles in the home, workplace or near children or birds and animals.

WaterLife Soap

waterlife soap
is made traditionally by hand, from the purest ingredients, primarily NSW produced Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Each variety is different; balanced with smaller quantities of Organic speciality oils including;
Shea butter, Cocoa Butter, Avocado oil and Extra Virgin coconut oil.

Olive Oil soap is very gentle to begin with, plus we produce specialised blends for mature skin (Rose Geranium + Ylang Ylang), young skin (Skin fresh) , super buff (Peppermint Walnut) bars, unusual essential blends like Black Peppercorn, Coriander and Lemongrass or the totally luscious Madagascan Vanilla with Mandarin and Cacao, to name a few! The essential oil for our sweet Lemon Myrtle soap is grown locally out near the Channon.

We use the finest steam distilled or cold pressed Essential Oils for their inherent health properties and aromas.

We choose to produce a product that is not harmful to the planet or its waterways. There is no Palm oil or Palm products in our soaps and certainly no synthetic fragrance, colours, preservatives or foaming agents.

It makes sense to be conscious of what we put in our body via our largest organ; our skin.
